Sweets & Treats Website

Sweets&Treats, a foodcart patisserie located in the Portland, wanted to jump on the buzz developing around their business and make a website to make sure customers could find them on the web. They wanted something simple that would give customers a chance to see their menu and get directions and business hours.

SOLUTION

I made a simple but attractive single-page website with a series of tabs that would allow customers to view the menu, directions, and hours while staying on that same page. Sweets&Treats can easily update the menu and hours with a simple site-editor. The large beautiful image on the page was programmed to cycle automatically as a slideshow. I achieved all of this using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; avoiding the use of Flash as it is often unreliable.

RESULT

Many customers have commented that they love the site and decided to head over as soon as they saw the big pictures of the cupcakes!
